Money Won't Buy You Happiness

Well, I think money brings happiness depending on how you use it. I myself like to help others, in result I feel really happy about seeing others happy as well so I feel great about being able to make others happy and to see them smile. So with money, you can make other happy making yourself happy if you enjoy it.

Have you ever noticed that most of the sulking, miserable people that you meet in everyday life are rich people?

The misery that these people go through is not because they don’t have enough money to by two square meals. It occurs due to the fact that everyone seems to have more expectations from money.

So if you are unhappy and think that money is the answer to your problems - think again! You simply are not happy because of your own emotions. There is a saying that ‘if you are not happy here and now, you never will be’. There is a lot of depth behind this statement.

Of course money IS important to help us live our life to the fullest. But at the same time, an increase in its inflow does not bring proportional happiness with it. You need to be aware of this.

Sometimes, I can really say that the money is the root of all evil. People finds great power and authority once they have money. They can easily control the world, but to those who fears God will never stoop to people who have money especially when they know that it would mean losing the values and principles their family tried to preserve. Money is good if spend for a good cause. Who would not want to have money especially in the midst of economic crisis we're in, but I hope people will always make a second thought how to spend their money. I hope they will try to spend it not for leisure but in reaching out people who are dying in starvation and illness just because they have no resources and the only means to survive is 'money'. My heart goes to those people who are suffering because of their inadequacy, who have tried their best and yet no luck comes around for them.

I agree “For the love of money is the root of all evil.” Timothy, 6:10.

God is not anti-money, or anti-wealth, He is anti-money WORSHIP.

The bottom line is that money, like technology, is spiritually neutral. It can be used for good or evil. God always deals with the heart and the motives of the use of money. If the motives are pure then the fruit can be very good. Let's stop loving things and start loving people. That is the measure of true wealth!

As Jesus said: "Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also." (Matthew 6:19-21)

My heart belongs to The Son. He is the meaning of life.

hello white shadow, nice to see u again....
I agree with you that money wont buy happiness, even though we can't live without money. There are also many rich people, many celebrities that feel suffer and depression because of many and they never satisfied with about what they have get.
I think we must think and learn from that. We must always grateful and believe so that we can get a truly happiness from God..
